Thanks to a missed CVS commit, Bug # 43230 came up b0rking the installer last week. I rebuilt it and updated it at http://www.php.net/downloads.php ( with big thanks to Derick Rethans for the karma and help finding my way to get it updated ).
Sorry for all the confusion and problems this has caused.
I am a software developer living in Northeast Ohio ( Doylestown to be exact ). Graduating from the Kent State University BS in Computer Science program in 2001, I now work as a Software Engineer for SugarCRM.
My first contribution to the open source world is an installer for PHP 5.2 and later, build using the Wix toolkit. It will install PHP on Windows systems, as well as configure it and the Web Server ( IIS, Apache, Sambar, NetServe, and Zitami ). It provides an easy-to-use method for getting PHP configured the way you want it and also a tool for easily deploying PHP to many machines thanks to MSI technology.
I'm also an avid writer, publishing articles on IBM Developerworks, Apple Developer Connection, and PHP Architect. I am also working on the book "The Definitive Guide to SugarCRM: Better Business Applications" ( due to be published in Fall of 2009 ). I am looking to present talks on SugarCRM or PHP development at any users or developers conference ( contact me if interested ).
I am happily married with a daughter and a dog, living on a hill surrounded by farm fields.

I have downloaded PHP 5.2.5 today, and install it… However, when I try to connect it to MySQL i got teh following message
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
Please advice.
